Healthwatch Thurrock are looking for volunteers to support us when we attend our drop-in sessions. These are organised sessions set up by the community which we attend usually on a monthly basis to update the community on things that are changing, are doing well or are not doing so well around Health and Social Care in Thurrock. We might ask the community to complete a survey, giving their views on an essential piece of work being carried out. Can you support anyone who needs help with completing these surveys? Are you happy to listen to issues the people of Thurrock may have had, or having at the moment.
We provide people with information advice and support. We gather views and experiences of local people so that they get the opportunity to help Shape Health and Social Care Services in our Borough Thurrock.
We would love you to be a part of our team and help the people of Thurrock have their say and get their Voices heard loud and clear by those who plan, run and regulate health and social care services.
Can you communicate, do you like talking and listening to people?
We talk to a diverse range of local service users, are you impartial and non-judgemental?
Are you enthusiastic and full of ideas?
Are you caring and empathic?
If so we would love to have your on our team, we have fun too!
