We are expanding our team of volunteers who are willing to drive for us in urgent situations - from severe weather conditions to major incidents and, of course, pandemics.
Please note: No emergency response skills are expected.
Driving volunteers will support local communities in whatever way we can:
-by collecting and delivering supplies.
-collecting and delivering prescription medications.
-driving other volunteers if needed.
-any other transport tasks for the duration of their shift.
This is not a regular commitment - volunteer drivers will only be called upon in an emergency situation affecting their area.

When can I volunteer?
Start Date: 25/08/2020
End Date: 02/01/2021
Due to the nature of this role, dates, times and duration of volunteering varies. The role will call for volunteers to take part in induction training and other information sessions relevant to the role. These will be 1-2 hours duration and expected to be run 2-3 times per year.
