Next Chapter is a domestic abuse charity working across the areas of Tendring, Colchester, Maldon, Chelmsford, Braintree & Uttlesford. We provide free and confidential services to support people who are currently experiencing, or have previously experienced, domestic abuse.
We are passionate about ensuring that every person has the opportunity to live their life free from domestic abuse
As a 1-1 Empowerment Support Volunteer, you will offer weekly check-in calls over a period of 8–10 weeks, providing emotional encouragement, gentle guidance, and a listening ear.
Your role is not to offer advice or counselling, but to stand alongside survivors as they begin to navigate life beyond formal support — encouraging confidence, independence, and hope for the future.
