We are looking for an experienced charity fundraiser to lead our efforts with digital fundraising - supporting our mission to reach every young person in the UK with our life-saving cancer campaigns.
We are looking for an experienced volunteer who can lead our small charity’s digital fundraising and strategy.
COVID-19 had a devastating impact on our income and ability to deliver services and support our beneficiaries. Having realigned our operational plan to adapt to the ever-changing covid-19 situation, we now find ourselves in need of fundraising support to diversify our funding streams to include major donors, bid writing, corporate partners – whilst increasing our digital fundraising efforts.
We are seeking for a volunteer who is able to contribute a minimum 4 hours per week (flexible) to implement their knowledge across this key fundraising area - working closely with the CEO and supporting Trustees to grow this role and raise vital funds for our small charity at this pivotal time.
We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to help;
- · Devise our digital fundraising strategy and execution.
- · Review our fundraising operations and donor cultivation.
- · Develop and diversify our income streams.
- · Develop fundraising operations online.
- · Contribute knowledge and expertise of fundraising techniques and operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play an instrumental part in growing our small charity. There will be plenty of opportunities to shape and grow the role as well as gain skills in other areas.
What difference will you make?
In short, you could save our charity.
Having lost over 90% of our projected income due to COVID-19, the impact you could have on our charity, our community and our beneficiaries cannot be understated. We have a clear vision, a driving passion for our mission and a belief in our values to deliver the programmes and services that will save young lives across the UK - but we need your help to raise the vital funds we need to make our goals a reality.
With your help we can reach every young person in the UK with our life-saving cancer campaigns.
With your help we can encourage, educate and empower young people to advocate for their own health.
With your help we can stop young people dying from testicular and ovarian cancer.
What's in it for the volunteer?
You will have the opportunity to play a key role in an organisation and deliver work that will have a real impact on the lives of young people across the UK. You will be joining a small team of dedicated individuals who want to make sure every young person has the best chance of surviving testicular or ovarian cancer.
We are offering flexible and remote working with a view to growing this opportunity into a more permanent role within the charity.
