Do you like to laugh? Do you get satisfaction from making a real difference to someone else’s wellbeing? Do you have a creative streak but are not considered ‘traditionally’ artistic?
We are looking for someone with empathy for adults social isolated by mental/physical health conditions who also has an interest in performance/creative art to assist with setting up the workshop equipment, helping out with refreshments and generally supporting and encouraging the participants in the workshops. Lived experience of mental ill health or other chronic health condition would be preferred but is not essential. The ability to be playful and committed to having fun is paramount. No previous performance experience or training is necessary but an interest in writing poetry/short stories or visual arts/crafts would be an added bonus. Our workshops are designed to improve confidence and well-being and provide participants with social interaction, not to train actors.
