This is an amazing opportunity for local volunteers to get involved in the Knitting our Heritage Together project in the Rayleigh Rochford District, which will be part of the Discover 2020 events.
This role involves assisting with the creation of the 2ft x 3ft textile panels, which will be created by local artists and these panels will ultimately tour the local district.
Please do contact us if you feel you are able to contribute to this amazing community project in any way!
Artists and Historians are also urgently required... as the textile panels cannot start until the artistic designs are completed.
A definite flair for creativity and the ability to follow instructions is a must for this volunteer opportunity.
This project involves both working independently and as part of a team, to be able to complete the panels based on projected timelines.
