Conservation Volunteers – Hanningfield Nature Reserve

Do you love being outdoors ? We are looking for extra help to join our work party at Hanningfield Nature Reserve.

Work Party volunteers are involved with practical maintenance of our nature reserves. At our Hanningfield site these activities include removal of invasive species, fencing, litter picking, path clearance, pond maintenance, coppicing, hedge laying and more.


Volunteers will need to bring suitable clothing, footwear, food and drink. Please be aware that work parties may not be close to a bathroom.

Work parties run from 11am – 3pm

Sessions are weekly on Thursday and Fridays.

  • Accessibility
    Conservation work is outdoors alongside rivers, in fields and on rough-terrain. Sites will not always have easy access to a bathroom.
