Telephone and online support is one way the Stroke Association provide support to over 45,000 stroke survivors, carers and families every year.
Their Connect and Chat volunteers will regularly contact people on the telephone to provide social support to people who might otherwise become very isolated.
If someone lives alone, or would like to hear regularly from a friendly voice and enjoys having a chat, this offer is for them.
Could you spare a few hours a week to contact people either on the phone or through online video calls, just to see how they’re doing
and have a chat?
Patient and friendly.
