Chat-Tea Befriending- Loughton

This project aims to provide support, friendship and short respite for informal carers and those living on their own in isolation. We have clubs in North Weald, Waltham Abbey and Loughton.

You will find this a very rewarding and fulfilling role as you form a trusting and supportive relationship offering a smile, a listening ear and much needed support. There are roles for club volunteers and volunteers who want to visit a matched person to befriend.

This role can fit around your existing committments, for as little or as much time as you can offer.

Skills

You are friendly, patient and understanding.

You have a sense of humour with good listening skills and life experience .
