Charity bucket collectors

If you enjoy meeting people and can spare a couple of hours you could join our charity collection team. These collections are a vital part of our fundraising activity and take place predominantly at railway and tube stations and supermarkets locally and in central London.

Main activities:

Standing in the designated collections points with one of our donation buckets

Greeting members of the public

Thanking people for their donation

Talking about what Haven House does and directing people to our website if they would like more information

We ask that volunteers commit to 2 - 3 hours for this role.

Volunteers will be provided with the equipment and clothing needed for the day.

Skills

No specific qualifications are needed for this role; we are just looking for enthusiastic, friendly and motivated people.

The following skills would be beneficial:

• Good communication skills • Confident in approaching others • Being flexible

Availability Details

As the role is flexible there is no specific time commitments. Volunteers can choose the slots they are available to cover within the time frame that we have for the collection. We ask volunteers to take a 2 - 3 hour slot.
