Building Maintenance - Clacton

A caretaker/handy person is required to help with basic maintenance and DIY at our friendly community Centre based at Rosemary Road and possibly at Kennedy Way Gardens

Checking fire alarms weekly
Fixing any loose screws, wobbly chairs, etc
Maintaining the blinds.
Bleeding Radiators
sweeping the carpark / out the front of the building
Installing light fixtures such as picture frames, toilet roll dispensers etc
Checking appliances are working efficiently (dish washer/washing machines etc)
touching up paint work
Ensuring locks/doors are maintained
Reporting essential work that needs addressing by a qualified workman to Facilities.
slight lifting and carrying (desks, tables, chairs etc)

Days & Hours to suit.

Skills

Basic DIY

Training in Manual Handling/Ladder safety can be provided if needed.
