Do you have a few hours to spare in the week to fundraise for the environment? We are looking for assistants to help in our cafes in our beautiful, modern visitor centre situated on the cliff top at Walton on the Naze.
Every cup of tea and slice of cake you sell goes towards funding our work to help clear plastic from the seas, battle climate change and help protect this stunning part of Essex for the future.
The Naze landscape is a unique landscape of geological and biological importance. Day trippers, walkers, bird watchers and fossil hunters come to the centre for well earned refreshments.
Opportunities available throughout the week and weekend, shifts generally run in the mornings and afternoon but we are flexible with hours.
You will be a friendly face in the cafe, welcoming visitors and serving refreshments from our busy cafe.
Among the many benefits of volunteering with Essex Wildlife Trust, volunteers are entitled to attend 2 free nature courses per year and are provided with a logo uniform. We don't want our volunteers to be out of pocket so we reimburse travel expenses too.
Many events are held throughout the year to celebrate the dedication of volunteers including guided walks, training and thank you parties.
This really is a unique centre ... they only thing missing is you!
