Knowledge of Bookstart and its aims will be necessary and the relevant training will be given to enable the helper to assist families with any queries they may have.
All Bookstart volunteers are given ongoing support and twice-yearly meetings allow all to get together socially and feed back with ideas.
Some yearly mandatory online training will be required.
