The Bookkeeper role should take approx 2 hours a week on average and will involve tasks such as:

  • Invoicing of services
  • Managing the small Payroll (4 staff)
  • Bookkeeping
  • Preparation of Accounts
  • Producing occasional management report

The organisation office is located at Downs Road Boat Yard in Maldon.  However the role offer the possibility of working from home with occasional attendance at the office.


Ideally the volunteer would have a good working knowledge of Sage Accountancy but training can be offered.

The volunteer should have good attention to detail and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
