We are a small charity working to improve the opportunities available to young people in Jaywick and West Clacton. We have a vacancy for a bid writer. Your will identify potentially suitable funding pots for our organisation and complete funding applications (bids). This is an ongoing but flexible role. Although previous experience would be beneficial it is not essential as training will be given as required.
This is a good opportunity to develop and demonstrate:
Writing skills - creating a compelling bid
Communication skills - E-Mail, telephone, face to face
IT skills - internet research, wordprocessing
Delivering at pace - Meeting deadlines
Collaborating and partnering - engaging with us and the funder during the bid process
Analysis - whether funding pots are suitable, financial and other data as required by the bid process
Although the headquarters are in Clacton-On-Sea, this role can be carried out remotely/from home.
