Could you spare an hour a week to brighten someone's day?
Would you like to help members of your community feel safe and cared for?
As a ‘Telephone Befriender’, you will provide much needed friendship over the phone to local residents who have reached out to our service. Our aim is to combat loneliness and isolation which has been proven to negatively impact both mental and physical health, but we need your help to achieve this.
We would love you to join our friendly team and become a Befriender for someone who fits your preferred criteria, such as gender, age, location and interests, to encourage successful relationships to be formed.
