Volunteers will be trained in Barista techniques and in house training on Food Hygiene and allergen awareness. Candidates will be serving the customers, taking orders, making drinks, talking with customers, clearing and cleaning, using dishwasher, replenishing, & rotating stock, checking use by dates, completing daily checks and weekly checks.
The volunteer will get experience of customer service and care, and learn the art of Barista. Volunteers feel a sense of purpose by giving back to the local community.
We are in need of support to help us stay open and offer a much needed service to the community in particular the elderly and vulnerable.
Skills
good communication, a good knowledge of personal hygiene due to the nature of the job and that the volunteer is keen to learn - are the only skills we require
