Our activities include (although volunteers do not need to do all of these):

- excavating, measuring and recording site features

- cleaning, marking and recording finds

- mounting and/or manning displays at events

- historical research

Skills

Entirely voluntary from beginners to those with experience.

Training and guidance is given on site or in the Group's Headquarters at Brickhouse Farm, Maldon.

Weekly. Clubhouse is open on Wednesday evenings but for excavations the site team leaders will advise dates and times when sites are open.
