Administrator for the Family Peer Mentor team

We require a volunteer who is looking to develop their administrative skills and can commit to at least one day per week.  This volunteer will provide assistance and support to the Family Peer Mentor support workers with the day to day running of the Scheme. Your role will involve:

Maintaining up to date records on the Family Mentor database

Assisting with preparation of training courses related to the Peer Mentor Scheme

Make follow-up phone calls to service users and volunteers.

Collate reports and statistics using database.

Liaise with schools, Health professionals and organisations such as Peabody by telephone or email.

Assist Support Workers with administration duties, such as photocopying and preparing for events.

Adhere to CAVS Values and Behaviours.


Administration experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, word and excel

Previous database experience would be useful

Confidence when dealing with people face to face and over the telephone
