Volunteers are needed to engage with people living with Dementia in a group setting, supported by experienced practitioners.
Duties could including assisting clients to engage with activities, assisting with teas, coffees, and serving of lunches. Working with practitioners to ensure that our clients have a fun and fulfilling day.
Our groups meet at Writtle, Sandon, central Chelmsford, Broomfield, Springfield, Bradwell and Braintree.
Skills
Our ideal volunteer would have a sense of humour, compassion for vulnerable people, confidence in building relationships and would be a good listener.
Our volunteers are in safe hands because our friendly centres are supported by experienced and committed dementia practitioners.
