ABSS Childcare Assistant

I am currently working on a project with SAVS and Better Start that is focused on parents of 0-4 years old within the Southend and Shoebury area, helping to give their child a better start before school and changing the way services are run. We have our parents involved in all different things, from attending Board Meetings to setting up Parent Forums and even organising events such as a trip to the the theatre. No Matter what we do with our parents we always try to keep the children involved too by organising fun games and things to do. I am looking for people that are able to help us out with the children, I am hoping to find someone who can help for a couple of hours a week to play and watch over the children whilst the parents are busy. Don't worry the parents stay in the same room as the kids. I just need someone who would like to work in childcare, or had previous experience in it or perhaps someone who just wants to help out now and then and meet new people. As long as you are kind and caring then it would be great to hear from you. We have plenty of toys that the kids can play with, the children are mainly aged between 1-4 years old and all of them are such a lovely bunch, We provide an induction and there is also training if you would like it, however I will always be on stand by to encourage and guide if needed. We are also able to refund travel costs for you getting in to us and when we go out and about we will always take you in the van with us. If you feel you could fit this role then please get in contact. Thank you.
