The World Health Organisation recognise the 10th October as World Mental Health Day every year.
The day provides an opportunity for everyone working in or affected by mental health issues to talk about what they do and what needs to be done to improve care for people world wide.
Volunteer Essex would like to use the day to highlight the many ways in which volunteers help support people with mental health issues across the county and showcase just some of the opportunities on our database within the field of mental health.
